Which angel is your favorite?

My personal favorite would have to be the fourteenth angel. It is one of the more powerful ones that actually uses its power and successfully defeat Auska, Rei, and destroy part of headquarters. Shinji just gets lucky when his Eva goes beserk.

It is in my humble opinion that when Unit 01 goes beserk Shinji is no longer in total control.

Kaoru is also a very powerful angel, but I like the fourteenth just a little bit more than Kaoru.

I don't have any, maybe the Eva 04 one. But I'm surprised people haven't already started saying Rei. But the thread is still young.

But other then that...I'd say Areal. I like the way it looks with the wings. Israfel too. For some reason those teamwork tactics always appeal to me. I just like the whole episode in general.

Zeruel just creeps me out with that face.

Why do so many people have trouble with this?

and what about people who are new to anime and haven't watched it yet? You may have been following it for quite some time but not everyone has the privilage of having any real back ground in anime.

As for berserk unit 01 ... i belive it's a pretty well known fact that when unit 01 goes berserk thats shinji's mother protecting him when he's loosing hope/getting his ass pummeled.

Just to clarify: 14th Angel (ribbon dude, whatever) was Zeruel

As for personal favorite...well...I'm kind of in a minority, my favorite vote goes to Sachiel...cool design, ability to make cross-shaped blasts by glaring alone, and the fact he pretty thoroughly trashed Rei shows he's got fight in him.

Semi-spoiler for those VERY new to the show (since we're covering these sorts of things...)

...and he would have won too, if it wasn't for that meddling berserk mode!
