I do. I'm old-fashioned. Actually, when roasting marshmellows, I let the sucker catch flame until it's black and good-for-snackin'. Marshmellows count as cuisine to me. Again, old-fashioned.

Lowering taxes helps the economy, stupid!

But... he didn't steal it the first time! It just kind of... um... fell into his lap by mistake.

Actually, Bush is cleaning up the mess left by his predecessors. Guys like Saddam and Bin Laden were put into power by the dumbass Reagan and Bush Senior. Now Dubya is correcting those mistakes. I'm personally very happy every time there's one less asshole in the world because of Bush Jr.

Um... you're thinking American. He said English. The English are famous for boiling everything, including meat. I like boiled meat. I also like crumpets and scones.

Not after a mega-expensive war it doesn't. We just spent tons of money sending troops to Iraq. The last thing we need is to cut the government's revenue AGAIN (not to mention raise the debt ceiling). It's like buying a Rolex watch and giving yourself a salary cut. Instead of cutting taxes, what Dubya SHOULD be doing is using said revenue to fund government projects and such that help create jobs and stimulate the economy (i.e. tear a page out of FDR's book).

And if lowering taxes helps the economy so much, then explain why with all the tax cuts Bush has given us, our national debt keeps climbing along with our unemployment rate. Before spouting idiotic statements like that, try doing some research.
But... he didn't steal it the first time! It just kind of... um... fell into his lap by mistake.
The American people did not vote him into office, therefore it isn't rightfully his. As far as I'm concerned, grovelling to someone (the Supreme Court) to give you what is not rightfully yours is tantamount to stealing.

Bush isn't correcting anyone's mistakes. He's compounding them. From what I've been reading and hearing, this WMD bullshit is starting to look more and more like another Gulf of Tonkin. Blatantly forging experts' information to get the American people to support the Iraq campaign is going to cause a whole new mess of problems. This war was not about removing Saddam. It was revenge for Bush Sr.'s failure at Desert Storm. And all its doing is pissing off the rest of the world.

Yes, it does. It doesn't help the national treasury, but it does help the economy.

He didn't have to grovel. We have an Electoral College. He won according to the rules that have been used for the past 200+ years.

But Bush SR. accomplished everything that he set out to do in the Gulf War: protect Kuwaiti independence (I don't know why Kuwaiti independence was so damn important at the time...)

Reagan sold weapons to Saddam during the Iran-Iraq war. Bush Sr. not only backed but also trained Osama Bin Laden when the USSR invaded Afghanistan. Those were mistakes. Said mistakes have now been corrected by our benevolent if somewhat bumbling President.

Whether you like it or not, and whether you agree with it or not, the world is a better place because of Bush Jr.

I'm barely resisting the urge to pound your pathetically ignorant ass with a really big stick.

You are a fucking moron. Lowering taxes = increased national debt = INCREASED INTEREST RATES = inability for individuals and businesses to borrow money = less chance for said individuals and businesses to invest = Bear Market = rising unemployment....the list goes on. Right now our rates are low, which is good. This tax cut is going to help drive them up, which in turn drives the economy downhill. As it is, unemployment is already on the rise. Go back to high school and learn some fucking economics.

Not to mention we don't NEED to lower taxes. We have the absolute lowest tax rate in the Western Hemisphere at the moment. The only reason Dubya signed off on this last tax cut is because election time is coming up and he's trying to mask his glaring mistakes by giving us a tax break.

Lack of capital is not the reason our economy's in decline. It's a demand problem, not supply. People are too afraid to invest because of what happened with WorldCom and Enron and the whole Arthur Anderson mess (which, incidentally, Bush has done absolutely jack shit about). They have no confidence in a company's published books, and don't want to risk losing their shirts to a bunch of corporate crooks. If our bastard of a president had DONE something about that instead of making pointless speeches that drove the market into a +200-point trench every day for a week straight, it would've helped a lot more than giving us a damn tax cut that we really don't need (nor can we afford).

He was "elected" by a Supreme Court vote, not the American system, you moron.

HAVE YOU NOT BEEN READING/WATCHING THE FUCKING NEWS???

The world is an even more fucked up place since he's been in office. Granted, Bush Sr. and Reagan's actions were mistakes. But what has Bush done to fix them? Bin Laden isn't confirmed dead, Al-Quaeda is VERY much alive and kicking, and we're not even done cleaning up the mess we made in Afghanistan before we race off to "take care of" Iraq and leave France holding the shovels (I don't blame them for not wanting to go into Iraq. They still had troops in Afghanistan).

For that matter, Saddam's whereabouts are unknown as well. Bush accomplished nothing in Iraq other than wasting money and troops and getting the Iraqi people pissed off at US! And now he has his sights set on Iran and North Korea? We have a fucking moron for a president. His domestic policy sucks, and his foreign policy swallows.

And before you come back with some hotheaded and ignorant reply, go do some fucking research.
