I really loved this! Just a super pretty, relaxing, magical AMV.

Crossfades might feel excessive for some viewers but I thought you handled them all very smoothly.

Simple and effective internal and external sync from beginning to end. Lovely work!

I mostly enjoyed this, but I definitely felt like you went way too heavy on the overlays and this ended up distracting from the beautiful scenes you were trying to show off. When you do overlays, it starts to get difficult to interpret what exactly it is that either scene is conveying. Sometimes this is desirable, but in a video like this I feel like I want to just take in the scenery and let it wash over me...the video felt too busy and I think a lot of the effect you were going for was lost.

I did really like the climax of the video (or at least the song's first crescendo at 3:03, there were a few moments that could be considered the video's "climax" I guess) and there was some really great editing in here, and some great scene selection as well. In general you really hit on the mood of the video...I just really wanted to be able to take it all in without being so visually distracted!

I really enjoy working with overlays, so I'm not surprised that some people might think I overdid it. In this case, I wasn't going for any interpretable scenery - it's more just a dreamlike walk where motion, shapes, and color are the focal point and any meaningful symbolism is just a coincidence. I find that the complexity of the overlays makes the video more interesting to watch in the long run, even if it might come across a little weird on first viewing.
