Got hit with a virus...second time this year, transferred my files to a friend's external, she's been holding on to them for the time being since my computer decided it didn't want to show images on any monitors, just a black screen. Ever since moving, haven't really bothered to try and sit down and figure out what its issue is...

Got hit with a virus...second time this year, transferred my files to a friend's external, she's been holding on to them for the time being since my computer decided it didn't want to show images on any monitors, just a black screen. Ever since moving, haven't really bothered to try and sit down and figure out what its issue is...

Mind you, the black screen issue is after restoring the OS from the second virus, so no idea what it could be. Thought my monitor was merely dying since it was acting up; wavy image going across the screen, but when it crapped out and I decided to try another monitor and got the same results; realized there was a bit more to the issue than I previously thought.

At this stage I'm taking a break from editing since I've been quite busy lately and somewhat in need of a break (last project was some intensive stuff) but I would definitely like to do a collab someday

Haha, schweet, if it was to happen, it more than likely would not be anytime soon since I'll be busy in the next few months but 2011 looks like a bright year.

I thought about the possibility and questioned her when she came up with the solution for it but she said it would be all right. We did not transfer everything, just a few files and folders that had things I needed and got rid of everything else.

Also, would like to point out, we had scanned the harddrive and it's contents and it was unaffected, it was only the OS we needed to worry about.
