Little Wonders Sentimental Mixed Anime

[Shin-AMV]

This is my first attempt at an AMV. I wanted to create something sentimental and/or romantic. I'm getting married later this year and wanted something to express my feeling for my fiance and our relationship. I know the song is a little older, but it fit with what I was looking for. I will add dedications and a tribute to it to be shown at our wedding reception.

I really like this video too but you didn't have to 'copy' it. No, just kidding. But well, your video had basically the same scenes as it (and that's rather freaky).

Anyway I will say this, your video seemed to inch by rather slowly. A common (or possibly inevitable) error by noob editors, even a mistake vet editors sometimes make, so don't take it as an insult just keep to it and you'll get the hang of it!

Overall I think the video is good, I love the song and the scenes you picked (can't wait for a second season of Kimi ni Todoke! ).

I think there was only one transition that I didn't like much (around 1:34 - the transition of Sawako smiling to Clannad). It's also a shame that you weren't able to use the raws of Bokura Ga Ita (there's a time when we can read the subtitles), but I do know they're reallyyyyy hard to get! And I wish you hadn't place the scenes of Lovely Complex as 4:3. Finally, the sentence "The moment he me by called my name, I fell in love" is that a subtitle or you actually wrote it? If it's a subtitle I would try to remove it, if you wrote it I wish it would appear with a different type and soft transition. I'm only asking it, cause it's a quote that makes sense to appear on this video, specially after reading your description.

Now for the things I loved! The beginning! I wouldn't change a thing for the first 30 seconds, you really got me there. The kissing scenes! The way you put them all together it's beautiful.

Nice work for a first time!

I felt the scenes were a little too long and didn't match up with the flow of the song [beat sync], and I could see where some of the subtitles weren't cut all the way off. But you still captured the "mood" of the song and the anime scenes fairly well, and it was interesting to see another AMV with this song.

Definitely a 3.5/5 for me, and I can't wait to see more from ya!

you had good scene choices, but their pacing didn't really increase with the song. There are points where the song reached its climax, but you scenes still maintained their slow pace. For sentimental videos, its good to have slow scenes, but when the pace of the song starts to pick up, that your cue to increase the pace of your scenes as well.

Good job for a first attempt though. Like I said before, your scene selection was actually really good.
