This was originally made for Valentine's Day, but due to the untimely death of my external(and it's 280 gigs of anime) before I could release it on the .org, I am only just now putting out the finished version. This was specifically designed for my boyfriend :3, and fortunately he got to see the beta version when I uploaded it to YT for Vday.

Feedback I'm looking for: In past, I've received some constructive criticism from a variety of editors about either over-syncing or under-syncing my amvs, so with this amv, I was trying to find the middle ground. I was mainly focusing on atmospheric editing, and I'm hoping to hear some feedback on how well, or poor I did. As some people already know, I do not like/use many effects, so if you're looking for a highly technical amv, this is distinctly not it. I appreciate any comments, complaints, opinions, etc.

Enjoyed it. Especially the middle and the ending part. Scene selection was good so it was easy to get into the whole thing. I can't say anything about the sync. It looked normal (so I guess I would say it was all right). Guess the middle ground worked well.
The little thing that bothered me was the flow. Sometimes I felt the whole thing lacked ... I don't know ... energy or some kind of a climax.

Edit: I really liked the quotes thing. Had to pause the whole thing to read those :D.

I watched the first version you posted on youtube and I already loved it back then.
This version is indeed better, with better sync and the scenes you changed are better imo. :)

I love the music (shame on me for just finding this song now) and you picked some really sweet scenes that go along with it.
Also, the idea of the quotes at the start is great, loved it!

The feeling is totally there and now excuse me I have a video to download

Really enjoyed that, mostly for the kick back relax and live for the moment feel. I kinda agree with C/F about the climax thing but eh, well the music kinda lacks an intense part to begin with. I'm happy you let the clips play out and synced less cause it just really set the mood. The pacing was great to the music IMO. You better have got a reward for this video from him. |:>

If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

I enjoyed it for the same reason EvaFan did, the mood and atmosphere just lets you kick back, relax, and live. Good job

That was just adorable! I loved the atmosphere [as several others have pointed out].

I loved seeing some of the newer anime like Kimi No Todoke getting used, as well as some classics [Inuyasha/FMA/Munto].

The literal sync and the beat/emotional sync worked well with the audio, and I generally loved everything about it.
