Koop, I think what people were taking issue with was the fact that it just happened to be you, the kind of winning awards, that started a thread about awards. It's gonna come off as e-peening no matter how innocent your intentions are. Then again, if some total nobody had started this thread, every single post would have been about e-peens. Can't really win either way.

Anyway, that was a really nice picture of the trophies. I wish they'd design the trophies more creatively, but I guess it'd be too expensive and not very practical to handcraft 'em, huh. Still, it'd be nice to take home something that wasn't always just a hunk of asymmetrical glass... or a ribbon.

No awards here. I've only submitted to one contest, that being ACen's, and I didn't even make the playlist the second time. Gee, maybe next time I should whip out the newest CGI anime, some indie music, and After Effects. >_>

Yep, thanks for that again. For its scale AAC is awesomely run and the prizes definitely deliver. Shame I haven't entered anything since my win there in 2006.

Well, mayhaps you should fix that - we're in November this year - i'll probably have the rules up either in the next 2 weeks, or after I get done moving in to my new place.
