That was... Actually quite enjoyable. :D

The music, the voiceovers, the script you made for the voiceover... It was... Just wonderful! The text was perfectly spaced and easy to read. The emotions were easy to empathize with, the scenes were hilariously perfect at time. The quality was great, both video-wise and audio-wise. The text used in terms of the character's names and "this summer" was just adorable and fit perfectly. I don't give number scores because I don't agree with them, but this would be a 5/5 in my book any day. This is also what I wish trailer AMV's were more of. :D

This is probably one of my top 5 favorite trailers as a matter of fact.

toradora means instant GET!

... That was actually quite awsm! Anyone who hasn't decided to watch this series yet needs to watch this trailer. It captures very well what this series is basically about without spoiling anything. Great job from another ToraDora fan       \

If i had to complain about anything in particular, it would be that the font chosen for the words inbetween the story sections ("This summer" etc....) were not very professional trailerish, looked more amaturish in style. Otherwise I can't find a thing I would've done differently myself.

Edit: Have to agree with code on the fact we need more trailers like this one, and that this may be my fav trailer in a while. I think I will be watching for more trailer releases from you ;p

this is now my fave trailer vid in my entire collection   I just really wish the subtitles were toggable T_T someone should write a guide on making mkvs with streams ~_~ Kinda agree with the font choice though, but typography isn't really discussed much here so its more of a trial and error process =P

I need to clear out my star ratings before I can get to downloading this. I can't believe the whole mess with Toradora!'s title still hasn't been sorted out, though.

It's one of the few series I can say was an instant favorite. I'm just too lazy to update my Favorite Series listing (besides, I've moved most of that to the MAL account).
OropherZero wrote:someone should write a guide on making mkvs with streams
As long as you have the .SRT ('simple' subs) or .ASS (styled subs) file, then just use MKVToolNix to add them in - MKVMerge GUI makes it very simple to do. If you want the fonts embedded, then add the .ttf/.otf/whatever file using the Attachments tab. If you want the video to be anamorphic then there's some extra stuff needed concerning the subtitles if you use ASS, but otherwise it's relatively straightforward. To make sure the subtitles don't show up by default, it helps to make the default subtitle stream an SRT file with only one entry that contains no text.

The hardest part of the process is timing the subtitles themselves. The way I do it is usually by doing a rough outline, jotting down the lines and times using Notepad while listening to the song, and then refining it using VirtualDub and Windows Media Player 6.4 to preview them and make sure the right lines appear on cue (a much simpler method would probably be to look directly at the waveform before previewing, though). Once that's done, it's simply a matter of styling them, if you choose to do so.

The methodology to make multi-angle/audio MKVs is also exactly the same as to put in subtitle streams.

Very nice. I thought it was cute; quite the enjoyable trailer. It's a keeper for me and instant place on I-pod.

x2

I really enjoyed it :) I'm pretty convinced now to finish this show :P

Another thing that bothered me was the colorful outlines of the subtitles, you should stick with one color.

Good job once again
