As long as you have the .SRT ('simple' subs) or .ASS (styled subs) file, then just use MKVToolNix to add them in - MKVMerge GUI makes it very simple to do. If you want the fonts embedded, then add the .ttf/.otf/whatever file using the Attachments tab. If you want the video to be anamorphic then there's some extra stuff needed concerning the subtitles if you use ASS, but otherwise it's relatively straightforward. To make sure the subtitles don't show up by default, it helps to make the default subtitle stream an SRT file with only one entry that contains no text.OropherZero wrote:someone should write a guide on making mkvs with streams

Edit: Have to agree with code on the fact we need more trailers like this one, and that this may be my fav trailer in a while. I think I will be watching for more trailer releases from you ;p
