Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Then why try to present your comment's as if they're not. Outside of "what is art" threads, most people behave like subjectivity ends with their almighty opinion.

No, you are wrong. That would be like saying I can't decide if a movie is good or bad because I did not make it. Whether something is good or not is always subjected to who is viewing. "Good" and "bad" are always subjective terms. You might get a "rush" from a video such as this, but I do not. It did not engage me, because I thought that the speed up pretty footage was trying to compensate what was otherwise sloppy, uninteresing editing to a song that was no more enjoyable than stepping barefoot onto fresh, human feces. There are editors who have made fast paced videos similar to this which I genuinely enjoy due to the skill and effort put into them. This was not one of those videos.
NO... YOU are wrong. There is a difference between saying a movie or amv is good or bad and what EQUALS a good or bad movie. So basically what you said: if you use fast and pretty clips the amv will not and cannot be good. Maybe check what you say before you say it next time.

Idc anyways I enjoyed it and i think they deserve alot of credit just for finding all these clips and using em I can't amagine how long it took just to sync it all and prep all that footage but then again the work load was split to three people so idk. The credits were great though, whoever did those nice work.
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

And here I was writing up a research paper on why the Org was a great place to be...

Seriously guys, chill. It's just another video, there's no need to take everything so seriously. A lot of the heat in these comments is starting to escalate, let's not turn this into some flame war ok?

The name? Well, we must have gone through at least a hundred names, but each time one of us would reject them. It wasn't until we started posting random things that could somehow relate to the video that the word 'fragrance' seemed 'ok' by everyone.

Senorita -> Dancing Flower -> Flower -> Fragrance?... come on :P

Hmm,a love or hate video with a bad name...
At least someone doesn't give a damn about names or editing. He just looks at the content and his reaction is an earnest one...
So let's just stop this needless talk about names and subjectivity of opinions.

ps:This was made by a friend of mine, not me,using a first version of the video poster.

I don't want to derail this thread, but that's not what TJ said AT ALL. Take your own fricking advice. Read:

He never once said that AMVs that "use fast and pretty clips" can never be good.

I did however make several typos while typing on my phone this morning :P And yeah, what CrackTheSky said. I have no need to reiterate it.
