Edit:
Oops ... There are many animes here, I generally like, is very fluid and moving scenes, the credits are epic!

Then why try to present your comment's as if they're not. Outside of "what is art" threads, most people behave like subjectivity ends with their almighty opinion.Kevmaster wrote:Everyone knows comments about music/videos/books or art in general are subjective.
NO... YOU are wrong. There is a difference between saying a movie or amv is good or bad and what EQUALS a good or bad movie. So basically what you said: if you use fast and pretty clips the amv will not and cannot be good. Maybe check what you say before you say it next time.Tsunami Jones wrote:No, you are wrong. That would be like saying I can't decide if a movie is good or bad because I did not make it. Whether something is good or not is always subjected to who is viewing. "Good" and "bad" are always subjective terms. You might get a "rush" from a video such as this, but I do not. It did not engage me, because I thought that the speed up pretty footage was trying to compensate what was otherwise sloppy, uninteresing editing to a song that was no more enjoyable than stepping barefoot onto fresh, human feces. There are editors who have made fast paced videos similar to this which I genuinely enjoy due to the skill and effort put into them. This was not one of those videos.Eva-Fan wrote:you don’t decide what equals a good video unless its your own.
I don't want to derail this thread, but that's not what TJ said AT ALL. Take your own fricking advice. Read:Eva-Fan wrote:So basically what you said: if you use fast and pretty clips the amv will not and cannot be good. Maybe check what you say before you say it next time.
He never once said that AMVs that "use fast and pretty clips" can never be good.Tsunami Jones wrote:It did not engage me, because I thought that the speed up pretty footage was trying to compensate what was otherwise sloppy, uninteresing editing to a song that was no more enjoyable than stepping barefoot onto fresh, human feces. you just destroyed my vision of all french editors living in harmony and peace :/~MimS~ wrote:In this thread, I feel like reading Amv-fr threads... it is war huhu
