Thanks for all the replies, guys. To the following:
The lip sync is actually one of my favorite parts about the video, so we'll have to agree to disagree there >_> But thanks for downloading and telling me what you think!

Either way, thanks for all the feedback (and for the QC on d!gital me >_>).
Thanks for watching!

Thanks again everybody!

Thanks guys! I appreciate the feedback, and the time you took to download and watch the video. I'm really glad you all liked it!Unlimited Rice wrote:Hey, this is really cool. Kinda got tired of the shaking halfway, but otherwise, good stuff!
I agree on some of the zooms being abrupt and/or not quite right, and I see what you mean with the camera being "too loose". I was actually worried that maybe I was being too generous throughout the video with the camera shake, so it doesn't surprise me that you weren't feeling it all the time. Still, thanks for watching and leaving a comment!Zero link wrote: edit: Me likes. The camera movement + blur was what got me into the amv, cept some of it didn't look right to me. Some of the zooms seem abit abrupt and there were times I felt like the camera was "too loose". I do like how you added the blur to make it seem as if the camera was trying to focus in/out, nice touch. 1:11 - 1:19 kinda killed it for me but you quickly picked it up. Overall, I like the editing and the phobia feeling you were going for. 4/5 + going in my amv folder. ^_^
Yeah you're all upbeat and happy and shitjade_eyed_angel wrote:hmm interesting. it's not really my type of preferred video but it was well edited. i'm not sure i was crazy about the lip sync but it was an interesting touch ^^

Thanks! And yes, you should definitely watch Paranoia Agent...it's quite a trip.Dr. AaronAMV wrote: Nice!
It makes me want to watch Paranoia Agent even though SOMEONE said it sucked... -_- I suppose I should watch, huh?
I should clarify here; I use the term "horror" to describe this video very loosely, because you're right, it's not exactly scary or anything. It's more dark and (hopefully) a little unsettling, but I can fully understand you not thinking it fits into the horror genre very well, or at all. I was kinda torn on labeling it as such, but I think it does retain some elements of the genre, so...whateverEva-Fan wrote:meh, i dunno. If you were going for horror then I think your d!gital me was a hell of a lot better then this one was. Don't get me wrong this one has its own perks but bleh...
Good editing, sync, flow, and fx wise. 8/10

When it comes to the lyrics, I'll be perfectly honest: I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to them. So, again, I can see where you're not totally getting into it - I was going for matching the mood more than anything, and if you pay a lot of attention to the lyrics, the video may not make a whole lot of sense. So...maybe that was a mistake on my part, but I just think the song's so atmospheric, and I wanted to convey that.Eva-Fan wrote:I think the problem was the song... It's a good song and some of the lyrics fit what you did well but about 1/4 the way through it... All the lyrics are being taken out of context according to the video. With a concept like this the lyrics are a powerful part of the video so I couldn't get into it.
Still... Pretty creative piece of work you got here. Would of benefited from a better song choice. It might of even been better without words as a pure instrumental.
Either way, thanks for all the feedback (and for the QC on d!gital me >_>).
Mmm...no.Radical_Yue wrote:Now make something with magical girls and transformation sequences.
That's ok. I didn't really understand it eitherPhantasmagoriat wrote:I still don't think I truly understand everything that happened in Paranoia Agent, but I guess that doesn't matter. Video got the mood right for me.

Oh well. To each his own, I suppose. Thanks for watching anyway!Kevmasterflashdeluxe wrote:One of my favourite Blue October songs, but I didn't like the video one bit. The way you synched the song annoyed me.

Hm, I took a look again. As it's fading to black from the guy's face there's a quick flash on a woman's face for about 2 frames before the scene with the girl lying in bed.CrackTheSky wrote:Err...opening this in VDub and scrubbing through it frame-by-frame around 2:46, I have no idea what you're talking about.NightHawk wrote:Also, just a little thing: Scene bleed at 2:46. lol
I'm doing frame by frame on KMPlayer.
