Different and I liked it. Didn't really scare me, but I think that had something do with the footage from "A total waste of 6 mins 35 seconds" was mixed in and that made me kinda laugh.

Actually I didn't set out to make a pure horror video, it was supposed to be a mix of horror, comedy and wtf.

Now onto your idea/concept. First off I absolutely love your audio source, it had some really great potential, PERFECT for a horror type video. Unfortunately your visuals can never seem to keep up with it and the entire video feels relatively disjointed. What I honestly think would have worked better is a single source instead of multiple because you really tend to lose any consistency you had from one scene to the next. A good horror video would flow from scene to scene taking the viewer from one horror to the next to maybe get something solid established across all of the scenes. But what it seems like you did was go into your anime and VIDEO GAME COLLECTION, pick out scenes that were creepy looking and go "Okay heres something scary.....next weird thing....oh this is strange....ooooooh scarrrrry..." and instead of feeling my heart pound like I did during the movie 'Signs', the feeling I was left with was as if I was going through one of those tacky haunted house rides with the cut outs leaping out at you at random moments.

You also need to do MUCH more with your visuals and atmosphere in this type of video. Black and white does not equal scary video. It helped match your color scheme from source to source, but thats about it. If you were using only one source, you wouldn't have the consistency issues this video had and you wouldn't have had to make the whole thing as interesting (visually) as a page in the newspaper. And not a page with pictures mind you, a page with ALL writing....SMALL writing.

You're right about the black and white noise effect, I used it mostly to make the different sources mesh together. I didn't really even think about using only one anime for this, that would have been even more boring.

You mention translation help, were parts of it meant to be subtitled? Like the children part starting around one minute in?
