I did not have the impression of seeing a clip on this anime, it's appreciable.
However, this was very short
gokussj4527 wrote:Lol, quite short video, but shweet job on the editing. Good use of effects as well.
I don't have much else to say, nice AMV, I liked it. 3.75/5
Chiikaboom wrote:Just watched it. Good stuff. My only complaint is that the concept you had in mind didnt really come across after i watched it. Basically it didnt really look like he killed her, it just looked like an overly angsty Kana video.

Regardless, 4/5.

Thanks for watching everyone! I appreciate the feedback, and I'm glad your general consensus has been positive ;)
Fall_Child42 wrote:Man the beginning was awesome, aside from the noise effect ... man that needed more effort put into it..
Kristyrat wrote:An interesting watch, especially considering I'm a fan of the series. Static effect seemed a little plain, or too simple, and the ending felt a little anti-climactic, just sorta dying out. But otherwise, enjoyable for the most part.
Reigna wrote:Oh, so this is what you had in the works. Nice concept, but I didn't like something about that static effect. Probably could have done a few more things to spice it up a little and add more to the atmosphere, but still good times overall.
76 wrote:I thought that too, I'm not to crazy about that static affect either
Heh...I'm no going to try to defend myself, the static was just the preset in Vegas, and I lowered the opacity on the clips to about 50%. Kinda surprised that so many people are complaining about it, but I can see what you guys mean, so...whatever :P Thanks for the feedback, it's very much appreciated :)
Niotex wrote:Could have been so much more if you put some effort into the visual fidelity/atmosphere. Straight up stuff like this just feels so bland despite the tritone. Concept wise it wasn't too bad but again could have pushed it more.

6.7/10
Frankly, I'd be surprised if any video I made in four hours impressed you  Thanks for watching!
Fall_Child42 wrote:but you just kinda lost it in the second half. The lipsynch and the dropped beat synch just sorta ruined the atmosphere you built up in the first half ...

P.S.

Did he totally take out that bitch's eye at the end?
Ugh, doing beat sync like that throughout the entire video would have not been any fun at all, and I would have gotten annoyed with it about halfway through. And no, he didn't take her eye out >_> But you could always see it that way. Thanks!
SF_Phoenix wrote:Something I would never have expected from Fruits Basket o.o
really nice job on doing this, particularly the beginning. My only complaint would be that the ending didn't feel as powerful as it could have been. Still, great work here =)
Yeah, the reason the ending is like that is because I had to cut the song and after the buildup that final cymbal crash just kinda feels blah. There wasn't really a better way to do it, unfortunately :( Thanks for watching!
Niwa-kun wrote:About the video, it was damn good I kinda hoped for it aswell to be longer but I still enjoyed The horror genre is quite ur speciality nowadays huh ;P
Thanks! I enjoy doing horror videos yes, but this is the last I have in store for a while, I predict...I need to do some happier stuff.

Where's my video? Eh? EH?!

That's what I thought.

Faggot. :/

No Colico .wav for you. No, sir.
surfsama wrote:You just gotta love the idea of taking an anime like Fruits Basket and twisting it into a horror vid.

But, I have to agree the last half need more throttle to make it really stand-out.
I agree, the last part is a bit slow, but in my defense by that point I literally had no more footage. I simply couldn't make more cuts because I didn't have enough scenes to work with. Thanks for watching and leaving feedback!

I rarely enjoy Fruits Basket videos simply because they all use a simliar concept. Glad to see an exception. Still, despite good editing (especially in the first half) I couldn't get into this one. Maybe it's the song's fault, maybe it's something else, but I didn't really like it, sorry =(

Nice concept! I didn't like the static effects either (something which also bothered me Conet most of the time), but mostly because of the fact that it looked to sharp. It would be better if you blurred or distorted (with wave lines for example) the video underneath the noise.

As for the editing, there's nothing to complain for the 4 hours you've put into, but I didn't think the song was much horror, but maybe that's me...

So when is your big project coming? Looking forward to that! :D

Hi

I was a bit surprised at the length at first, but you made it work. I really liked the concept, but I agree with everyone else in that you set it up really nicely in the beginning, but it crashed later in the second half. And I'm the only one who seems to like the static, it seems >=P

This isn't your best, but it's definitely a solid video.
4/5. Instant win
