What happens when the main guy dies in combat ... do they lay down or explode or something? Like This http://snakesonaff6.ytmnd.com/ Still frames will even doomegaevolution wrote:saddly .hack//G.U. has nothing special when you die really, is just a Game over screen, so I can't help you there... unless you would want to use the part in Vol 1 where Haseo gets data drained and almost "dies" *points at his .hack//G.U. GMV*.
Also, too bad nobody can use RE4 for this one since that one has hell a lot of dead scenes![]()
@Ultima: thanks, if I have problems with the first beta deadline due to the trip, I will inform you as soon as possible.

Just making a few updates, and letting you guys know that I am, indeed, alive and paying attention to the thread.
inthesto has dropped the intro on account of his idea not quite working out like he was hoping it would. This means that it gets passed back to me. I have an idea, which will more or less be an updated and enhanced version of what was in FMV1. However, to do it properly, you guys will need to get your betas in on time. (Remember that there are sharp consequences for failing that anyway.)
On that note, it's February 1st today. This means that you have a week to sign up for a place in secondary auditions, or for current participants, you have a week to choose a potential second track. Recall that newcomers get priority over participants in track selection. Today also marks the one-month countdown to the first beta deadline (March 1st). Be aware of that.
When secondary auditions are over, I'm going to PM everyone on the project just to make sure that you're all aware of your track placements.
On the topic of the death scenes Fall_Child42 is looking for... I wanted to throw out some suggestions for obtaining those scenes. Hopefully, at least some of you can simply rip a scene, though this is the least likely possibility. If you can't rip any, try to see if there's anyone that can capture them. In particular, if your game has a PC version, try to find someone who owns that, as it's a lot easier for people to capture scenes from PC games than any other source. If that doesn't work for you, remember that there are always devoted fan communities out there for lots of games, and if you find one, it's perfectly reasonable to politely request if anyone could get you a death scene.
Just so nobody thinks I'm doing any foul play, I'm making a note here of the fact that Arkada was on Track 12, but had requested 21 before. Since 21 is still open, I'm moving him over to that as per his request, meaning that 12 is now open again.
Finally, if you know somebody who might be interested in editing for this project, please send them this way. I'm concerned that the tracks aren't going to be filled, so I might start sending out individual PMs in the near future to people that I think could help.
Hope everyone's trucking along just fine. I've already gotten a beta or two, so that makes me happy. :3
