Sounds like a plan. I was going to resolve to make somewhere between 4 and 6 videos... so I guess I might as well kick it up to 8 and join the club.

I already have video ideas for dance, effects whore, drama (non-romance), comedy, and action. Romance, trailer, and other will require some more thought. But I wouldn't want to have everything planned already anyway.

Back in 1999 it was.

I am SO in. However, I don't know that I'll be able to make it all the way to the end, but I love the idea of making videos from a genre I've never done before, so I'm up for the challenge.

The question is, who's going to be the first to post?

Let me guess, every single song will be sappy and from the 80's?
*cough* No >_>

I can think of PLENTY of non-sappy songs in the 80's that kick ass, but yeah...they'd still be cheesy 80's songs >_>

You know, when I look over the genres I realize I have ideas that have been stewing for each of them (except maybe effects whore).

I don't honestly expect to get any more than two videos done, though.

Considering I only release one video a year (if that), this is likely not going too far for me; however, I think I'll at least pick one genre and do a video for it.

Let's see... I think I've successfully accomplished Fun, both Dramas, and maybe Other with that 'Evolution or Mutation' horror video. That leaves Action, Comedy/Parody, Trailer, and Effects Whore. Effects Whore is definitely not happening. I've come to terms with the fact that I have zero aptitude with effects. The others... maybe. Just maybe.

this doesn't really matter.. I suppose if you only release 4 out of 8 videos then you lose. I mean, nobody gets prizes. It's just kinda for fun and experience.
