@Crackerz - it's too bad that you can't join (maybe when FMV 3 rolls around, lawlz), but I definitely wouldn't mind you being my other beta tester.
BUT! Just to prove that I'm sticking to the rules I set, I'm still making you follow the procedure I wrote out (AKA: the auditioning). If I bend on one thing, they'll start expecting me to bend on everything, y'know, and the whole "improvement" idea of this MEP is that I give all of the info up front and stick by what I say from the get go. So when we enter the audition phase, be around, love.

I'm gonna have to say no to songs like that as well. Basically, anything associated with a game is pretty much out of the question. I realize that this means we're missing out on some great music, but just so you guys know, here's the reason I'm doing it.
Let's say for some oddball reason I put... hmm... oh, let's say I put "Suteki Da Ne" in the project. Then, you just KNOW that half of the people are going to audition for a part of that track with Final Fantasy X. And no offense, folks, but it very rarely works well, and instead ends up looking really corny in most cases. I've only seen it
successfully done once or twice. In short, I don't want any game being put to its own music, and denying all VG music is pretty much the easiest way to ensure that.
Believe me, though, I've considered doing a MEP with nothing but VG songs, but the
VG Project comes so close to that that I'm not sure if I really want to.
Hope that answers everything for now.
