Getting ready to edit
Since I started editing last week, for some reason I can only do it after 8 pm and with a cup of tea to really get any productive work done. I was wondering if anyone had any SPECIFIC habbits they do before they can sit down and productivly start anything.

Yeah some drink water some drink beer or wine while editing. I use to edit after 8PM too. It´s my every day freetime.CrackTheSky wrote:Yeah, I tend to do this too. And, when I edit, I drink lots of water. Heh... if The Chosen Two is anything to go by, apparently I edit quickest and best when I have no internet.
Nighttime and a dark environment tend to put me into the mindset for editing. Also, I get the urge to edit when I've just listened to the song for the potential AMV. Looming deadlines seem to make me the most productive, as far as videos are concerned.
Something that applies more to writing than AMV-ing is exhaustion. I get really fucking loopy when I'm dead tired (think: chattering happily with myself, giggling uncontrollably, unbridled - but amused - sarcasm... stuff like that). When I get loopy, I put out some of my best work. I haven't been loopy in a long time...
