Contest Information: tied with my other video "Falling"
for "Fan's Choice" at Ikasucon 2007 AMV contest

Note: this video has nothing to do with the anime Card Captor Sakura, I just made the pomo pic as one that is for both the Feed the Fire video and the Clow's Collection muilt-editor project.

Glad to have this video up, enjoy^^

Edit: I'm going to re-upload it after I fix the flitering and the ratio. I went back and checked my mistake and I should have it fixed soon.

Edit: FIXED!

Two gripes I had with this video. First the video quality looks WAY overfiltered, and second is that I was a little bothered about it being fullscreened considering it was originally widescreen.

Other than that, it was pretty smoken'! :o

aspect ratio wrong, way overfiltered...over blended and contrast too high, I'd honestly rather see no use of avs and even interlacing (ie straight from dvd) than this final product =\ (if you were using raws then there is no need to apply more filters to it) also I didn't feel the footage connected enough with the music, you used faster action scenes where I believe that the song is of a slower momentum. yeah some scenes felt out of place/randomised/didn't add to the part of the song and well... that lack of connection got to me.

Anyway you score extra points for using Shakugan no Shana so keep up the work ;)

Ah! miss sakura san, I've been waiting for this ever since you told me you were going to release it! I have to agree with the others above me, but it's still amazing, and the segment in Clow's Collection is beautiful. I was amazed you picked it up and finished it so quickly! Anyway, you know my opinion on this!

4.00/5.00  (Points off for Aspect Ratio & Filtering)

thanks code, yea I know it looks overfliterd but I like colors when they are bright and loud, that's just me ^^; and it just looked way to dull before hand, also when I saw this anime it was in fullscreen. I'm still working with fliters so I should be better with them in the next video. I thought I got the aspect ratio right(looks back) ah it's still confusing@.@

But as long as the video enjoyable then to me it's all good and that's all I care about. I'm still learning so I'll get better with the footage flitering...hopefuly.... I also hope this leaves an good impression for the mep.

Maybe I'll re-upload it one day with a few teaks^^

Yesh!

EDIT:
That had a nice original touch in it. With this alternative song and all. Once again you have captured it very nicely. I didn't know what the hell was going on in that video, but it's not a huge problem, since the mood sync was pretty nice. Although, it would be great if the character was shown very in-depth for a change in a character profile video~

I'm becoming more and more used to your style of lyrical syncing. And I liked that on this video, even if I often prefer beat-sync. Sometimes there were cuts I didn't feel were properly placed, but that wasn't a big problem since the overall flow was very.. well.. flowy. Which means good

Anyway, maybe I should watch it more times before I can actually say anything about it, but I felt your story-telling was more random than in your last two videos. Don't get me erong though. Mood sync was very appropriate, but often mood sync alone is too disposable for the video to be actually "great".. I liked your video, but not a lot =) Nice work!

Oh yeah, I felt it was still over-filtered (I can't compare to the previous version though, because I haven't seen it) but propably better than unfiltered footage anyway~ Expect an op from me, but don't count on it ;) Sometimes I just can't bring myself to write another essay~

I downloaded the fixed version, and holy crap this is overfiltered. I mean, WAY overfiltered. I'd guess that you didn't need any filtering at all (that's okay to do sometimes), because this is just BAD. There's also a hefty dose of macroblocking throughout the video...I don't know what you did, but the quality of this video is just

That aside, I simply loved this video :) The flow was excellent...quite surprising given the inconsistencies I felt were present in Falling. I mean, the scene selection and actual cutting in this video was nothing short of brilliant, and this was COMPLETELY unexpected. I'm going to have to watch it a few more times to really grasp your concept (I was too entranced with the way the scenes fit the music so well), but my initial impression of this is that you've far exceeded what I expected and I really hope I get to see more cool stuff like this from you in the future.

Also, those AE sequences kick ass :D

4/5  (Would go higher, but the quality is honestly bad enough that it's distracting)
