I tried a few new things with this amv. This is the first time I've attempted masking and also the first time I put such a strong emphasis on telling a story. The editing process with this video turned out to be a really great learning experience for me. If you're interested in the details, you can check out the video description.

I'm satisfied with how this video turned out, though it may be too slow for some people due to the song choice. In any case, let me know what you think.

This was a really sweet video - and I mean that both in terms of editing and emotions. I'm not sure that the masking really added anything to the video, but I don't feel that it took anything away either. With how simple this song is, you probably could have gotten away with just straight cuts and fades and this would have turned out just as beautifully. Dunno what else to say... I really liked it. With all of the violent, angsty Saikano videos out there, it's nice to see one that's sad, but sweet.

I liked your Now and Then, Here and There AMV a lot more than this one. The song you now used was very meh and I think there are enough typical Saikano drama AMVs out there ot begin with.

I haven't seen the anime, but I guess this was more or less re-telling of the anime in somewhat chronological order? However, I liked your clip-selection and the way it went with the song. It wasn't anything too deep though. I always appreciate depth

Some of the fades didn't flow so weel, but overall you syncing was right on! Good job on this one!

Yeah, I did feel a little more inspired with my Now and Then, Here and There AMV, and towards the end of this one I was getting a wee bit tired of editing drama.

I'm excited about my next one though, which delves into the action/adventure category. That should be interesting.

Yep, more or less retelling in mostly chronological order, heh. I was a little concerned about this one being just like most of the other Saikano vids out there, but that's okay.
