FINALLY :D /fuckingets

EDIT: AWESOME EDITING O: That intro was hawter then ever and thanks for adding ASA on it =D The pace was superb too but to be honest with you i liked the older version more. This version had way too much of animes included in it and get a bit messy in some part but it comes with more boobs and secks so that's a good thing tho 8-) (fastest credits evah ;__;)

Your title is very deceptive.

I was thinking outside the box?

In all actuallity the song was chosen first and I just followed what the actual lyrics was saying more than the mood and sound of the song to conceptualize the video. Afterwards I thought the same as you that it probably should have been about girls kickin ass, but by that time it was too late into it for me to do it over and make it for Otakon still. (that and I'm a lazy bastid that wouldn't want to start from scratch anyway ;p)

Kalium: Intro is just me having fun with a new thing I learned in AE ;p

Niwa-kun: Older version to me had pacing problems, the later half was faster than the first half (mostly because I edited them separately due to premiere crashes), so I edited the first half more to match ;p awell, you got both versions now. I do realize that this may be too fast for some people.

Everyone else, Thanks for the comments and support ^^

I also noticed something I forgot, Songbird21 also helped me with a few source ideas, and I forgot to put her in the special thanks section in the video  So special thanks goes to her also. ^^

I normally do one on one responses to everyone, but honestly didn't expect this to reach page 3 overnight, and I gotta go to work ;p

Nothing special somehow, I liked the effects at the very beginning those looked M@Dlike and thus something you don't see everyday. The rest was random fanservice with a song I can't get to like and effects that look very much like Vegas standart maskings and glow, altough you say you've used AE I somehow don't really see why (except for the beginning). Moreover the actual editing was quitwe convincing some nice action syncs and alot of motionpumped scenes, but the whole concept isn't my cup of tea since I prefer serious stuff. So this video is just above average on my scale. So don't let the actual rating distract you, the actual technical and editing stuff was pretty good and I guess you know already that most people liked it. ;)

I think I'm gonna go so far as to say the song just plain sucked. :|

The visuals on the other hand were very nicely executed. Your editing was superb and the effort put into this shows, but I did notice you cut some corners with a lot of the masks. It doesn't really show that easily due to the extremely fast pace of the editing, but a few strategic pauses shows what I'm talking about.

rather weak vid as far as my opinion goes...

while some of the more demanding fx at the beginning/ending look good and innovative, the rest has stuff I saw a thousand times and on top of that, the execution of the rotoscopes was pretty poor and the cookie cutters looked very iffy.
editing-wise I don't understand the hype at all, mediocre to good with pretty bad panning and scanning, while I didn't feel that much flow (have to agree with liz and brad tho as well). still barely above average...

Have to agree on the music source, but I can see where you were going with the lyric sync. Still, nicely done!

That explains the problem that myself and others have had with this video. From reading the title of the AMV, the anime used, and the song chosen (especially the song) I wondered if they would all fit well. Well, I'm firmly with Nessie and AtomX here; the editing is great, the lyrics match the visuals, and it is fun and upbeat, BUT the song didn't feel right with this video. It was too "rock" and this video (as edited) demanded more "pop".

Interestingly enough, there are a few "kicking ass" scenes in this video that I felt were more appropriate to the music (although the lyrics say otherwise). In short, I wanted more of the action-y stuff found in the latter part of the video. And considering the sources you used, they are in abundance.

If I focus on the lyrics, the video fits with the audio. But the music's "mood" seems contrary to the visuals (except for a few instances, as I mentioned earlier).
