Thanks a lot for the responses guys!
(No, I'm not gonna go all one-by-one on the praise, but I appreciate it all muchly nonetheless
)
). For the same reason I didn't use any of the evening or night scenes in this either.

And now ladies and gentlemen...
I believe we've just proved it's an Oto video. People don't agree on it and usual response patterns fail.
No trouble Crackers, I know I certainly wouldn't appeal to everyone, especially noting how you usually seem to like my slower, more mood-oriented videos. I just find it really ironic how Mitch is usually more 'meh' when responding to my videos and you're quite the opposite. Not this time. That's not to mention the totally opposite response to the music
I promise nothing other than the fact that I'll mess around in all possible ways in the future. It's not like I'm after 'omg originality', it's more of the fact that to keep interested I have to constantly pull these weird changes in AMVing approaches. And make joke videos. Of which this might be one.
Again, thanks everyone for responding!

Yea, the karaoke scenes were definitely funny and I did have them in mind - the main reason I didn't use them, I think, is that the color scheme in them is a bit different from most of the rest of the movie. I'm picky about color schemes (a residue from my usual mood-video repertoireaesling wrote:That...was awesome. You did a great job of capturing the silly moment in the movie (which, as you said, there are a lot of). I was kind of surprised you didn't use any footage from the karaoke scenes, because that part was just so funny to me, but come to think of it it wasn't so much the visuals that made that part funny, so that's just me. And the end of the video was brillliant and twisted.

Haha, it's certainly not intended as any sort of stab at you. But I think we all can agree that the first AMV that comes to mind in relation to the movie is yours. And clearly I couldn't stay away....AtomX wrote:I lol'd :O
Heh seriously though. Very fun videoFeel free to use my name in any video title you'd like.

Also I love the song despite only understanding so little. All and all good stuff with very little I'd change other then maybe the train simulator ending.
This shall receive my seal of approval which I shall make after I'm done with this shit job I'z doing now.

I especially didn't like how you used a fade-to-black for the majority of the transitions during the verses. Also, the song was a HUGE turn-off. Eck. Overall, it was alright, just not my cup of tea (which is surprising, since I usually like your videos).

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Wow... that song... well, it kind of sounds like something I'd hear in an alternate language version of Katamari Damacy. Couldn't you see the Prince picking up small takoyakis to this music? I could. >_>
Anyway, this this was hilarious in one of those "It's oh-so-wrong ways," and I loved it. It's too bad I haven't seen the anime, or I'd probably get more out of it. Thank you for lending your... considerably unique... point of view to this traditionally stoically AMV'd source. Great job, Oto.
