"A typical easy Azumanga AMV."

I did not like this too much to be completely honest with you. The editing and song work alright to create this weird video about Osaka's trippy world, but as a whole this doesn't connect too well. The idea feels stretched and keeps going, and going, and going... The beginning is good and all, but it just gets really old really fast after a minute or two.

My two cents.

Haha fantastic! I liked the editing in this, it was all very (or at least relatively) tastefully done, and it didn't seem like an overkill on effects, and overall this video just...WORKED. So good execution on concept

However the concept is...well a tad shallow. All you had to do was show osaka acting loopy, so really you could have used just about 90% of Azumanga Daioh to get your concept to work. So its a decent concept, but its something we all saw when we watched the show in the first place. This feels more like a tribute to Osakas crazyness.

4/5

i really liked the idea, and several parts made me smile.
fun vid, but it doesn't seem like you a whole bunch of effort into it. much of the video felt half-assed
KioAtWork: I'm so bored. I don't have class again for another half hour.
Minion: masturbate into someones desk and giggle about it for the remaining 28 minutes

I think maybe the reason some folks don't quite get this is because they're looking too hard for "comedy" when it really is a "character profile." When you think of it that way, this video really works to explain how Osaka's mind functions. I liked this, but I'm hit-or-miss when it comes to older music, and I don't particularly care for this song. Negating that, though - good job!

It's ALL about Osaka.

I really liked this. Good concept, good scene selection, and great use of overlays. I don't think I've seen a better Osaka character profile.

The only bits I didn't like were the 16 second pan-banging sequence at the beginning, and the bits where you faded a scene to black before starting the next one.
