Two "good" fansevice series (of course that's an understatement).
Of course the real reason is the way Geneon and ADV dubbed them respectively. From what I heard, Ikkitousen is dubbed by New Generation Pictures, and the female VAs were able to prevent making the voices into horrible, generic airheaded anime girls (especially Carrie Savage's role of Hakufu Sonsaku).
Then there's Nurse Witch Komugi which is actually dubbed by TWO studios, the usual Industral Smoke and Mirrors and the returning Ocean Group. The main principle roles of Komugi, Shiro, Kyousuke, and Yui were reclaimed by the original VAs of the Ocean Group while the other roles were dubbed by IS&M.

Her name's Komugi Nakahara! ...thus confirming my suspision that she really IS the same character, in some way.
