1:1 for my New Video

Post by silver_moon » Mon May 23, 2005 9:24 pm

You know the routine, I op yours, you op mine. :) Here's my new vid:

Title: Shackled
Anime: Naruto
Song: Vertical Horizon - "Shackled"
Category: Serious, Drama, Character Profile
Link: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... hp?v=73628

Rules:

1. The first person to post will get their review done first

2. No DBZ, End of Evangelion, or Akira

3. Don't give me anything you wouldn't be allowed to put on local

Other than that, I'll review anything. I usually leave pretty detailed reviews, so please be patient. I will get to everyone's op as soon as possible. Post away. :)

As the Vertical Horizon fan, it would be my honor to view your video, silver_moon. :D

In exchange, you can check out my latest one, Heart of the Paper Sisters.

Your op is up.

This is only the second video I've given a perfect 10 for getting everything right.

Kudos, silver_moon. :D

I'm going to give it a go, this was a pretty interesting AMV to watch, and there's much to say about it :)

If you please, I'd be glad to get an opinion on my latest one. It's a character profile done to "Nevermore Sorrow" by Ashram, with footage from Gakuen Senki Muryou.

Thanks, and I'll let you know as soon as I've posted the op (it's partly written already, but it's getting late and I'm not sure I can finish it tonightl).

You make absolutely beautiful videos, so I would even just offer a free opinion, but I have one question first.

I haven't seen Naruto, nor do I intend to. Will this affect the understanding of your video, or do you feel that people will comprehend the message you are sending without prior knowledge? I would hate to give your video a confusing or misinterpreted opinion just because I don't know what's going on.

If you could offer an answer, I would be very appreciative. I plan to review your video either way, but if the answer is "no, you won't understand as a newbie to Naruto," then I just wanted to let you know in the beginning of the opinion comments that I may sound weird with some of the things I say.

Thanks in advance.

As always, Farewell, Good Luck, and Happy AMV-ing!

GloryQuestor: Your op is done.

Kerydwenn: Thanks for your review, I downloaded your vid and will review it as soon as I can.

dj_ultima_the_great: I tried to make the video so that it would be understood by people who haven't seen Naruto, so it would be great to hear from someone who hasn't seen it, just to see if I succeeded in doing that or not. You should definitely get the gist of it, especially since I added some text into the video to help get the idea of the video across, even if you don't get all of the finer details. :)

You're welcome :)

My browser choked on it when I posted it yesterday evening, I got all afraid that it was posted twice or something and couldn't load the page to check... fortunately things seem to have gone alright with this, haha. I'm not too bright past 11 pm, really ;)
