Soar [FFVII: DoC] - Liminal Augury Studios
This movie is a little different from my usual style; it uses a single disk for footage (the game, no AC) and is considerably slower paced than my previous work. The concept follows the basic theme of the game of Vincent overcoming his past and it's to music by the artist who sings the theme song for the game (Gackt).
To make this perfectly clear:
This Song Is In Japanese
The Lyrics Are Provided
Subtitles Are Not

Nicely done. I have no complaints on the technical side, though a smaller filesize might have been nice.
I haven't played this game, so I can't be sure of my interpretation of your video. However, I have played FFVII and have a good working knowledge of Vincent's story, so I think I can say fairly confidently that this was a lot more "pretty eye candy" than "story-driven piece." Still, I love your sync, since it's a lot more internal and less of cutting on every beat like you did at the start of the video.
Overall, I enjoyed watching this, and it was definitely worth it.

When you're using Vincent as a subject its rather difficult to /not/ end up with pretty eye candy
That being said the timeline of the video is more or less flashback, close to current, flashback, finishing close to current, final battle, current as he walks out of the cave. Now that I think about it, it's a bit the way the game told the story.
The game itself is an FPS... by Squenix ... so the gameplay isn't exactly amazing, but it's still enjoyable and the story is worth going through, especially if you're up on Vincent's past, as it goes through and clarifies a few things.
