OMG! More Virginity O:
Dead leaves ftw, so Ima get this.
EDIT: yeap, definitally a good first one. Especially liked the Lip synch which did fit quite perfect and was also done well, even some pro's got problems with that but you did a good job there O: I enjoyed it.
You should check out The Guides and learn some proper Encoding though.
Good Luck on your Future vids

ThankyouIleia wrote:Pretty good for a first video! Good use of almost every type of sync. Lip, lyric, mood, action, pretty great all around. The only slight annoyance was the video quality, but even that wasn't all /that/ bad.

I made it a reasonably high quality render though, by most standards anyway.
I'll remember that you peoples don't mind downloading huge files, thats good. I'll make the next one Extra HQ.

Great first vid!
I could say that I'm in the same bucket as you, since I just uploaded my first a few days ago.
I submitted an opinion, it's obvious that you put some effort and time in that.
However, I would have to say the same as everyone here: try some better encoding techniques, and maybe you could ditch the wmv file format

I liked this. The lip sync was *awesome*, especially for your first try. I've seen veterans do lip sync worse than this. And that was probably the main draw for me - my biggest gripe is that there was no concept that I could discern, and ultimately this will keep me from watching it much because I didn't connect to it on any level. Also, as some people have already mentioned, the quality is kinda bad, but that's understandable and doesn't really bother me.
Still, awesome flow and lip sync, and for a first video this is definitely good stuff.

This was definately a lot of fun to watch
I agree that the lipsync you did was probably one of the best things in the video, but I'd rather say that you had an even better feeling for the right scene selection since Dead Leaves has this long weird ending and you cut off at the exact right time and mostly used the best scene at the best possible moment in the audio, that was really nice.
Since there WERE some major things missing like as already mentioned by everyone else a better video quality as well as something to draw attention from the viewer (since - if I wouldn't have liked the audio or the anime I would most likely have turned this off) I have to go with a 2.5/5 rating, but in a good way considering that it's your first.
