Overall, I enjoyed it. The ending was definitely stronger than the beginning, in my opinion (with the exception of the very beginning, with the Lisa section, which was good). While Parasite Eve, Silent Hill, and Resident Evil fit the theme nicely, the Kingdom Hearts segments seemed a little out of place (along with the romantic FFX bits). Still, I liked it, and I'm glad you decided to release it.

Unforgivable! Wheres Xenogears???
This needed some "id" and Wygraph action up in there ;p They do fit the theme nicely, and wouldve been good to replace some of those FF scenes that were too "nice" and romantic for the theme. Otherwsie though, I gotta say you have good taste in games ;p
I thought the some scenes stayed too long without any real synch going on, which could lead it to be boring for some people. I think that was the main problem i had with it. Ofcourse there was some bad visual quality in there, but I tend to try and overlook that a little more with Video game footage. Overall you did good lyrical synch though (except for the lack of id and "does thou want the power?" guy ;p ) Not too bad for an old video.

I'm not entirely surprised to hear this. In my seventh video, I did something similar and people called me on it. I guess, in my mind, I never thought that way before, but now it's something I plan to pay more attention to if I do multi-game source videos.IcyCloud wrote:While Parasite Eve, Silent Hill, and Resident Evil fit the theme nicely, the Kingdom Hearts segments seemed a little out of place (along with the romantic FFX bits).
Xenogears, eh? I do own it. I just haven't played past the beginning. I got some other more interesting games at the same time I bought that one, so it sort of got pushed to the side. I haven't picked it up since. Shame on me. v_v You, too, brought up Icy's comment, and...well, read above. I agree with your thoughts on the sync from time to time, and the visual quality was pretty bad. Now that I have an inkling of a clue about ripping and compression, that will surely be improved upon.Bakadeshi wrote:stoof
