the video is a remake of my first video uploaded to the org, and i'm quite proud of it. i fixed many of the previous mistakes, reduced the file size just a smudgen and even upped the visual quality.
oh, and of you have the time:

it's to the anime Cat Soup and it was kinda a quick job. but i'm still proud of it and it's still here. so let's all take a look!

99 Orchestrations:
I've been waiting for this for some time. Good to see it's finally up, though I have to say, I actually liked the original better. Not that this one isn't good too.
Steps in Growing:
I can hardly believe that's System of a Down. Where's the yelling? Where's the rage? Great song, great video, if a little weird. I'd say, "Trippy, in a good way."

I would have to agree with Coffee54 on this one.
Although there were improvements from the original, I miss some of the scene selections that were excluded in the director's cut from the original.
The video quality was iffy, as I saw a macroblocking throughout the video, but other than that, it was ok. The interlacing was fixed- thats a plus.
The video was not cropped completely on the sides, which made the multiply clip scene seem awkward with thin black gaps standing out, and the white lines in some of the scenes stick out a little on the side.
I wished you would have kept the intro you had for the original, as I absolutely LOVED it. Although the cuts were more complex in the DC, I prefer the original intro.
I loved your outro with the cat bra scene, but I thought it would look better without the audio stuck in the Director's Cut.
I read that you said some people thought you were cropping out subtitles in some of the scenes in your original to hid them. That's complete nonsense.
I thought those edits gave a really good feel to the style.
The editing was undoubtfully more solid than the original, but I would have to say I enjoyed the original one better. I felt the original 99 Orchestrations had a better grasp at its concept, and an overall better feel to it.
Good job

*sigh* it's difficult to win here. i wanted to make the video with a higher quality, but i really hated the idea of simply raising the visual quality without changing anything else. well, what can i say, i tried. ~_~
to be honest, i think i might enjoy the original more myself, but hey, i gave it a shot. ^_^
thanks for all your feedback!
