• Comments: Alright... it's been a long time since I've actually sat through and completed a video. So here we go:
  
  I was working on another project, but it ended up getting me depressed and seeing how close I am to the end of my deployment in Iraq, I decided to go with something more fun and cheery. The anime I chose to accomplish this, was K-ON! K-ON! is a play on the Japanese word "keion" which literally means, "light music" and I paired it up with Paramore's "That's What You Get"
  
  Aptly, I've named the AMV, "That's What You Get When You K-ON!"
  
  The titles a little long than what I'd normally use, but the vid itself is a lot different than what I normally would slap together. This video was made for me to get a good feel for using Vegas and also a run through of using the steps prescribed in the "Everything A/V" guide on this website. It was pretty eye opening the difference in quality right from the start and I can't wait to get back to the US to be able to obtain better source material now.
  
  As far as my video, I wanted to give it a MTV/VH1 music video feel. I attempted some action syncing with the music and instrument playing and even some lip sync. I was too afraid to add any type of effects, because everything I attempted seemed too tacky, which means I still need to practice using them more, so for this video, I left them out. For the audio, I feel pretty proud of the fact that I successfully shortened the song and made it sound like it's suppose to end there (yea me!). Right from the start I have a guitar and drum battle going on and from there, transition into a sort of slice of life video, which I pretty much turned into a Mio & Yui relationship somehow o_O;
  
  I will say, this video isn't anything epic, but it is the first time one of my own videos have given me goosebumps from watching it and I can honestly say, this is the best I've ever done and I can only hope to keep improving. If nothing else, this video is the highest visual quality I've ever produced and I hope you all enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed making it.

  [2009-07-08] Pan, the Common Chimpanzee has an omnivorous diet including troop hunting behavior based on beta males led by an alpha male, while Bonobos, on the other hand have a mostly frugivorous diet. This information should help you make a better amv. Althoguh this one was quite alright.

  [2009-06-29] I liked this video. The opening was grabbing, and I liked the story/emotion throughout it. The MTV feel was very effective, and nicely synced. The one thing I would have preferred while watching this would have been a little less guitar/drums/singing, and more off-stage scenes. It would be a bit more variety for interest, and also give the performance more of an impact (seeing why/what moved the girls to play that song). Good job tho :3 keeping~
  
  Thanks for the comments! Even if some were as random as the clips in my AMV! I'd comment back on all of these, but as stated... I'm pretty lazy =p (it's true!)
