• Comments: There is very little I feel obliged to say about this video. I feel as though I've gotten comfortable within a specific and identifiable style, and this video reflects that very much. If you've enjoyed anything I've made in the past 2-3 years, this will probably feel very familiar, but you'll also probably enjoy it at least a little. I made this video specifically for Nan Desu Kan 2017's AMV contest, but it didn't get in (although it did make it into Overload -- a showing of the "still good but not good enough" videos).
  
  There's really no overarching story or concept in this video; it may be said to very loosely be about feeling young and invincible, but even that is probably something I'm applying after the fact rather than admitting that, no, there wasn't much of a plan going into creating this one. For once I don't care -- I really like this video, I like how it turned out and I feel like it has a lot of replay value. It's fun and I do think it captures the essence of this show really well, even if the specific meaning and subtleties of the story may be completely lost on someone who's never seen it. If that's you, don't worry, don't overthink it, and just try to enjoy the ride!
  
  Technical notes
  This was a quick video -- it came together really smoothly without many issues. I probably spent a little less than 10 hours actually editing it; done, as usual, completely in Sony Vegas 8.
