[average 119.3 of 231965 opinions; standard deviation 432 ] - Profile: Hello! I'm not much of an AMV editor so much as I am an AMV critic and collector. I got into the AMV scene around 2007 when I was first introduced to 'Tainted Donuts' at a college anime club. Since that day, I have amassed a collection of over 500 AMVs (and growing!), as well as hosted and judged AMV Contests at a midwestern anime convention. Similarly I have hosted panels at conventions discussing the origins and evolutions of Japanese MADs.
In terms of actual editing, I am acquainted with a bit of the process that goes into the making of AMVs (timing, syncing, source manipulation, etc...), but I have always lacked a computer with enough 'oomph' to do some serious work beyond two experimental series.
