  • Profile: I've been in broadcast arts/TV production since the 6th grade. I made my first semi-anime music video in 2000 when our school's morning TV broadcast allowed us to do a "fun" project. A friend and I teamed up with various clips from the mainstream anime (DBZ, Gundam Wing, Sailor Moon, etc.) and interviewed a few students, set it all to KoRn's "Make Me Bad" and thus my first attempt at AMVs was finished. Of course, I lost it (and my production tools) when I went on to high school. Fortunately, my attendance at Jacon 2001 sparked my interest again and one year and $200 later, I had created my first full AMV for competition at Jacon 2002.

    Jacon 2003 brought me back with 2 more videos, both of which were finished mere hours before their deadlines. After stressing my capture card out on the Excel Saga video, I upgraded to a Dazzle DV Creator 100 and am currently working on learning that one. In the past I used a WinTV capture card, Adobe Premiere, Avid Cinema, MGI Video Suite, and VirturalDub to create various parts of my videos.

    As for Anime, I'm a big fan of Magic Knight Rayearth, Cowboy Bebop, Angel Sanctuary, Armitage the Third, Rurouni Kenshin, Inu Yasha, Gundam Wing, Shoujo Kakumei Utena, Ayashi no Ceres, Kare Kano, Yu Yu Hakusho, Dragonball/Z/GT, Saiyuki, Hellsing, Excel Saga, Bastard!, Urusei Yatsura, Tenchi Muyo, Naruto, Samurai Champloo, Kyou Kara Maou, Ebichu, Chrno Crusade, Tenjou Tenge, and tons of others I could list. Manga favorites include Mars, Marmalade Boy, Inu Yasha, Sailor Moon, Fake, Tenchi Muyo, Chobits, Angelic Layer, Urusei Yatsura, Peach Girl, Ayashi no Ceres, Ranma 1/2, Gundam Wing, Bastard!, Rurouni Kenshin, anything by Kaori Yuki (Angel Sanctuary, Boys Next Door, Count Kain), Utena, Skyscrapers of Oz, Chrno Crusade, Sensual Phrase, Trigun, Hellsing, Naruto, Yu Yu Hakusho, Shaman King, Saiyuki, and again, a ton of others that don't come to mind at the moment.
