Why I enjoy making AMV's: Ever since I started making amv's I've loved it. Being able to take both a song and some footage and express a story in a unique way is what I like best. Action videos with nicely timed effects or clips always draw my attention. Being a video editor is also great because there is never a dull moment. I don't think there is any way to know everything passable about video editing, therefor you are always learning something new about editing, and your work usually only gets better as you progress.
Advice to those trying to become better at video editing: Timing! Timing! Timing! its been said over and over, but thats because its a very important thing in a video, whether your video is action or romance. Be sure to look over your timings again and again and then have someone else look it over as well so that you can make sure. Your choice of music is very important as well. Most of my time spent on my videos is song choice, and should be for other people as well unless you've had the song picked out for a long time. Your choice of music will either make or break your video. The rubber band is my best friend, make it your's too! ^.^ Also if you have any problems, never give up! There are alot of people here and elsewhere with alot of helpful advice. Make use of these sources and you can do nothing but get better.
