  • Profile: I started doing AMVs in 1998 and had one of the first 20 or so web sites offering AMVs for download before animemusicvideos.org. I became really well known around 2000, in part because of a series of Sailor Moon videos that I was doing at the time and in part because I loved anime and tried to put a lot of heart into everything I did.

    I went to a lot of anime cons between 2000 and 2005, did AMVs panels, particiapted in contests, etc. It was a lot of fun and amazing how far my name spread! I would have fans of my videos ask me for my autograph at conventions and I honest to God got recognized on the street by a total stranger more than once! No one can ask for a bigger compliment than that. It was quite an experience.

    In these past few years I've been doing much less with AMVs as my interests and time have moved onto other hobbies. I may complete another video some day, but I don't currently consider myself an active AMV creator. I still go to cons every now and then to hang out with friends and of course you'll see me front and center at the AMV contest.
