Halo Reach is awesome, simply put.
Aside from being a beta its quite great, now the downsides to it are a big problem though.
The first day it was up the servers nearly died trying to allow people to play, the wait time after each match usually lasted around 20-45 minutes, which now that is fixed I haven't had any problems finding matches or starting matches either. As for weaponry, the new Armor abilities are cool but personally I fucking despise the Jet pack, and Armor Lock is way to overpowered, you shouldn't be able to willing control when you release it and engage it I feel once you press the button and armor lock you're on the ground for the full time of use. I think Sprint should last longer, as for Stealth I don't think it should jam everyone's radar; just the user of stealth to balance it out, seeing as you become invisible the slower you move.
Lastly, grenades are way and I mean WAY to powerful, seriously wtf are you thinking Bungie?
Now as for matchmaking so far (Bungie hasn't released every playlist just yet.) The new veto system is pretty good, but the only downside I have to the veto system is most people that actually play the game seriously and have skill mostly go for slayer pro, whereas the people that like to rely on armor abilities rather than actual skill. (Which is fine, armor abilities can be fun I suppose.)Now brings me to the fact of the tie out on the veto system out of 8 people, say 4 vote normal team slayer (which consists of Assault Rifle starts and Magnum secondary, and 4 Armor abilities as stated above.) Then the other 4 people vote Team Slayer Pro (this consists of DMR or Super Combine starts with 1 armor ability which is sprint, my personal preference.) Now the difference between the two aside from the armor abilities; is how each gametype is played. And to make this worse they have only released two maps Powerhouse and Swordbase. Now the downside to what I was getting at if it draws out, it always picks Team Slayer :/ because its the first game type chosen no matter what, I feel it should at least be random instead of just straight up Slayer which I'll explain why in a moment.
Team Slayer Pro usually if set up well, most people will keep a distance and use team work to get to the 50 kill mark first, most people call out, assist other purposefully and use team work to obtain the stronger weapons placed on the map (which Powerhouse has a gravity hammer, which actually needs some tweaking imo, the lunge is unreal and its capable of swinging to fast imo..., now also on the map is the rocket launcher, which seems fine so far, grenade launcher, new weapon I don't see anything wrong with it yet, and the hotpocket gun lmao I don't know what its actually called yet, but its like a energy stream sniper rifle which it's damage is a bit powerful, I understand why trying to mimic a sniper it needs to be powerful. )
Sword Base has a shotgun, a sniper rifle, a sword and a stick grenade launcher
Now onto Team Slayer, not much difference between the two,aside from the starting weapon and the 4 armor abilities. The Assault Rifle is a automatic gun, that most people use for close range , whereas the DMR and Super Combine are single fire semi auto rifles, you have to be precise and actually aim well, and also go well across most of the map but like I said; precision is key. Now a starting point of Team Slayer AR starts, most people scramble for power weapons using jet packs or w/e they may have picked, and once you get close people spray the assault rifle and chase kills constantly, which isn't a smart move most of the time because you could run right into 3 other people just for wanting one kill and you could fail getting the kill and now your team is losing.What I'm trying to get at is, most of the time normal team slayer is a bunch of hectic bullshit, now the main reason I'm ranting on this is for the simple reason if you get the people like that on your team you may end up losing and this causes your season rank to decrease, which it's a beta so I don't really trip on it by any means, but I'd really rather have people that actually play smart, because usually in Pro Slayer it forces people to play smart even if you don't have the best team work going on.

But anyways so far FF 13 is nice, the battle system is pretty new to me ( but I haven't played an actual FF game since FF X.) I like the sphere system that Code brought up, Lightning is a Female version of Cloud (imo). |:
I've only been able to play the last few days for just a bit, just last night I got to the point where CP actually kicks in. But so far I'm not disappointed, and hope I won't be.

Yay, I finally got this game.
I also got another copy of Street Fighter IV (since) and an Arcade Fightstick. :)
