New AMV?

I think I'm going to do a kind of "side-project" for my RahXephon AMV trilogy. I feel like I need to focus on the relationship between Asahina and Ayato, but I can't just include it as a small part of the last part of my trilogy. So I'm going to do a video just about them. I want it to be a quick AMV, but I also want it to look good, so...well, I'm not sure yet. I think I'll start ripping today; shouldn't take me long, Asahina is only in a few episodes.
Hopefully it'll be up by the end of the week.

Whoo, I just bought Serial Experiments: Lain off of eBay for $5.00 ($12.00 if you include shipping)! I'm super-excited, although I won't be able to start watching it for a while thanks to my current anime backup (which isn't really all that much of a backup).
I have a ton of opinion to give, it seems like. Don't worry everyone concerned! You'll get them!
That reminds me; if anyone, no matter who you are or if I've ever talked to you before, ever wants a free opinion on one of your videos, just PM me. In fact, I think I'm going to tag this at the end of all my journal entries from now on. I love to give opinions, so just PM me the link if you want a free one. I don't mind! If you do, though, be aware that it may take me a few days to get it up because I'm a busy guy. Well, not really, but that's my excuse anyway.

Dj_ultima_the_great, I care about what you have to say. Your's is the most interesting and well-written journal on the .org, as far as I'm concerned. And I agree with what you have to say about how everyone's becoming cynical assholes. And I'd be very surprised if you read this.
So I went home this weekend, and yikes. The storm that hit last week and flooded our basement with an inch of water kind of wreaked havoc with my family. They had to take out the carpet, and throw out all the furniture, and now my dad's ripping out the tile beneath the carpet so he can put in nice-looking ceramic tile. He's so depressed...I've never seen him this discouraged. Putting me through college has forced him and my mom to take second jobs, and my dad has a third job. My mom says he keeps thinking "Why me?", and I feel so bad for him.
I wish there was something I could do, but any help I could offer would get in the way of school, which would totally negate my helping in the first place. It's a very condescending feeling.
And it wouldn't be a complete journal entry if I didn't complain about school in some way, so on that note I really hate my dialogue class. The people in it are cool and our professor means well, but the discussions just go in circles and at the end of class I can't help but feel like we didn't get anywhere.
Ok, well, now that that's done, I think I'll surf the .org a little before my psych class.
