I hate the French language. I mean really. The only reason I stuck with it for four years in high school was because I adored my teacher. Last year in French was a total joke. Our class was awful, not only in terms of actually learning the language but we weren't very respectful either :( She still loved us, and none of our jokes were really serious, we just gave her a hard time quite a bit.
My point is that my French 1020 class this year sucks really hard. I haven't spoken French fluently, or really even at all in well over a year, and now I'm in the college's second-level French course. Of course, this is ONLY because of a graduation requirement; you better believe that if I didn't have to, I would NOT be taking this stupid class, which is taught completely in French. I comprehend enough to get by, and I can read/write it pretty well, but when it comes to oral French, I'm simply not very good at it, nor do I care enough to get better.
I give this class a week before I give up and drop it. Maybe I won't drop it, especially because I don't think I could get into another four-credit class this semester. Although perhaps I can take up another quad-long class for the B quad...yeah, that may work.
Even regardless of my French class, though, I do have to admit that this first quad is going to be pretty darn laid-back. I have a total of three classes, and M-W-F I'm off after my French class, which goes from 9:15-10:20 AM. So I'm probably going to have a lot of free-time, at least until March, when the B quad starts. Then I'll probably be knee-deep in work >_<
So, what to do with my day off? I think I'll get an op or two done. I haven't oped some videos I said I'd op like two weeks ago, so I guess I'll get those outta the way. I'll also try and finalize my portion of Kaxi's MEP, although my motivation and enjoyment level for that project has more or less dropped through the floor. I'm eager to see the final project, but I'm sick of editing for it. I also have some other projects to work on.
And some TIE Fighter to play ^_^

I really hate it when *ahem* certain people ask for help and then get impatient because no one's answered their thread over the course of maybe an hour or two, and when someone actually DOES ask a question to better understand the problem, certain people act like the person trying to help is being condescending towards them and the thread becomes one huge flame war.
I mean, I REALLY hate that.

Actually, that banner DOES have to do with AMVs...Kusoyaro said that a long time ago and is quoted on it whenever the issue of the "bar" comes up on the forums...i.e. "Is the bar for AMVs set too high these days?"
There are enough topics on the forums about it o.O - 2007-01-16 16:23:07 HAHAHA. Whoever made that "We don't need a leader - we need to SHUT UP" banner gets my respect. We need to VOTE YES on that one.
