Another YouTube complaint

Ok, so a while ago I joined this Facebook group for AMVs. It was never cool, and I don't know why I joined. Or why I didn't leave. Regardless, I'm still in it, and my God these people are idiots. They all post their videos on YouTube and prefer it over the .org (for those of them that actually know about the .org). Some guy actually questioned why it mattered where you view AMVs. So I watched an AMV he'd posted earlier, as well as a few others by other people...I've never actually really watched AMVs on YouTube, but if what I saw is any indication, there is definitely no reason to prefer YouTube over the .org. None at all.
At least it filters out even MORE crap from getting on here.

Pretty much everyone here on the .org that I talk to regularly has cameoed in at least one of my dreams. Even people that I don't really talk to that much have appeared. Don't worry, most of you have had a favorable disposition...although Kariudo, if you're anything like the person that I dreamt up then I don't know that I ever want to meet you >_< Don't worry, though. Your online personality is still cool in my book.
I'm going to be so bloody busy with AMV stuff the next month or two, and probably beyond. If I think that the Lain video I'm working on now turns out good enough, I'll enter it in ACen. That is, assuming I finish it in time. Shouldn't be a problem; videos typically don't take me longer than two weeks to finish, but this one's definitely going to take longer than that considering the amount of work I'm putting into it. I've probably already spent a good fifteen to twenty hours already, and I'm not even through with the intro yet.
And I'll probably start on ANOTHER project this week, not to mention the fact that I still have to clean up my piece for Kaxi's MEP, and moonie's MEP piece is hanging over my head. And another thing that cannot be mentioned here. *Sigh* I never thought AMVs would take up this much time.
Well, better get going on my Lain video...a certain effect I'm working on may end up taking a lot more work than I thought...Later guys.

It'll be a long time before I join another MEP. It's all about standards...I guess I knew this before entering, but man, it seems like everything about MEPing goes against my personal philosophies on AMVs. It's all about pleasing everyone else, and if you focus on making something YOU like then chances are your piece won't be good enough. I'm not really complaining about my piece, because I haven't really had anyone say anything bad about it. I guess I got lucky. But some people out there just expect too much...it kind of ruins the fun of doing an MEP, you know? :/
At least I'm pretty much done. Now I just have to work on moonie's MEP...I have time for that, though. And I think that Rage Against The Machine MEP kinda died. Which is fine by me. I had an epic idea come to me today, and if I decide to go for it I won't have time for anything else for a couple months.
Hmm. I'm hungry.

UGH. WHAT THE FUCK.
So apparently our school's bookstore now doesn't take checks from students' parents, which means I have no way to get the books that I need right now. The girl suggested buying them online...I think they have some way where you buy them online and then pick them up at the bookstore. But I am PISSED. Especially because I need my French book today so I can do the homework that's due tomorrow, but unfortunately it doesn't look like that'll be happening...
