JOURNAL: DigiMatt (Matthew Embrey)

  • School has started...and no new AMVs... 2005-08-29 22:42:11 I've been touching my upcoming Naruto AMV a little bit ever since the release of my second AMV. Currently all standard choruses and verses have been finished up with nice battle sequences and lip sync that I didn't even notice was there until recently. All that's left is another musical interlude and those things I hate the most: fading choruses. It's just too long. I've toyed with the idea of finding a spot in the music where I can cut a piece out of it, but I am not sure if I can even do that with Windows Movie Maker, let along have the skill to do so.

We'll see how it all turns out...eventually. After this Naruto AMV, it is off to a Mobile Suit Gundam AMV. I've played the AMV in my mind each time I heard the song I am using, so it should be a rather easy make since I've got it stuck in my head. I just hope what I have in my head can be put into motion. Wish me luck!
  • Two AMVs, over a hundred hits, one opinion... 2005-07-23 00:46:43 Makes Matthew a very sad person T.T But I am sure so many people go through the same thing. I mean, I myself have only left ten reviews.I have a Naruto video halfway done, none of the previous music used, but it's from the same soundtrack(Yu-Gi-Oh! the Movie Soundtrack). I also have another video that has one clip in it, because I wanted to do it for a friend, but I never got around to doing anything more to it. Besides, it was a hard video to do, because the music was Jimmy Buffet's "He went to Paris".

I hope I can get some more opinions and give some more opinions. I don't know when I will complete the Naruto video, though. But be patient, as I am patient with my slow computer.
  • First AMV calls for first Journal Entry 2005-01-13 21:42:57 Well, after downloading and downloading AMV after AMV(you know we all do),I finally decided to make one of my own. I had the efficient clips, good music, creative thought process,Wondows Media Maker...

I've finally bridged the gap from Watcher to Maker. And don't worry, the second is on its way soon.I won't be a single time maker,I plan to be a full blown creator and hope to compete in the Video Choice Awards. Heck,I plan to enter them into AMV contests...once I figure out a way to get rid of those dang subtitles...
