JOURNAL: Coderjo (Tracy Ward)

  • If I had a dime... 2001-12-03 01:59:02 MCWagner: ack! Willow is a drug addict now? jeez! what have a missed?!?

*goes franticly searching through his many large stacks of recordings...*

If I had a dime for every show I have recorded and archived over the years, I would probably be a rich man. I record far too much. (I burn about $50-$70 a week on blank tapes :/ )
  • Around the world, around the world. (ARGH! Make it stop!) 2001-12-03 01:12:25 Well, I just spent a week away from everything. I fell ill last weekend, and was stuck in bed all week.

    for the record:
    Asthma + Bronchitis = BAD

EK: ARGH! I Just got around to reading journal entries, and see that you had a video idea to a song I was thinking of using. Although, I was going to put it to ReBoot footage (Matrix sorta does need therapy...)
  • do you believe in heaven above? / do you believe in love? 2001-11-08 03:06:46 I just found out today that I can get cable internet service at my house, finally. for 6 months I could move one block and get it, but not have it available here. woohoo.. I guess I'd better get kusanagi set up. She's my firewall box (or will be, once I get off this dumbass ISDN router).
  • The one (video) that "got away" 2001-11-02 12:37:04 I have reinstalled win2k twice now. The first time, I had chaged the wrong option in the BIOS, and win2k still put everything on irq 7 again. So I changed another option in the BIOS and re-installed again. Win2k is now leaving the devices where they are, and I drop fewer frames than before, but I still drop too many frames.

I strongly suspect that ASUS' video capture drivers for win2k are the problem. Time to save up for a newer capture card. :(
  • ARGH! I HATE WINDOWS, TOO! 2001-10-31 00:59:22 I think I figured out my video capture problems, but have not solved it yet. Quu's journal entry about win2k and IRQs just smacked me from my subconsious, and prompted me to check my IRQ usage. Win2k was bright enough to stick my USB port, capture card, sound card, ethernet card, scsi card, and parallel port all on the same damn IRQ.

Well, now that I know what the problem is, I'll worry about fixing it tomorrow. Time for sleep now.
