  • C is for CLEEEEEEEAN HOUUUUSE 2013-05-13 13:26:06 Spending all day cleaning out my belongings. Tossing stuff out, donating some stuff to Marva, and taking some stuff to the game stores.

    I'm also going to attempt to build a charging station for all my gadgets. Let's see how many times I swear today. XD

    Also watching lots of Netflix. DC Cupcakes today. I love me some reality cooking shows. especially when disasters happen. ;)

  • B is for Burnout 2013-03-26 10:45:59 Work has been leaving me with hardcore burnout lately. It's just this time of the year I know, but seriously I'm just constantly in a bad mood right now. :(

    Basically from January-February we get clients that just want their taxes done. Phone calls entail people requesting appointments or just calling to see if we'll do their taxes. This is happy, yet slightly stressed Code.

    March-April? We get the screamers. The late filers. The people who expect their stuff done immediately, even though they brought it in less than 2-3 weeks before the deadline, knowing full well we likely have a large number of returns to do ahead of them. They can't be reasoned with. AT ALL. I get berated, yelled at and completely left feeling empty every day. It's basically 2/5 of my day playing customer support when I should be working on returns. This is a sad Code that goes home and sleeps as soon as he gets home. :(

    I'm trying hard to just think that it's literally less than a month away from serious stress relief and downtime and vacation days being opened back up again, but it's just so hard to see past the present.
