  • 2007-12-29 15:21:53 Scratch the drywall idea. I managed to buy myself a 6'x9' sheet of Muslin White photo backdrop which will be a perfect screen. I managed to get that for 99 cents at eBay! Well there's also the 25$ shipping charge but that 's ok.

    All I need now are 4 pieces of 1x8 pine boards for the frame and a few hooks and I'm up and running.

    Now, as for AMVs, only the MEP piece for Witches, Fairies and Teacups to do. Other than that I'm looking at a stucco wall that will be the home for my new 88 inch wide (not diagonal) movie screen. I was debating to sand and drywall or not. I think I'm going to take out the burrs and put up 1/4 inch drywall over top and then paint it pure white.

    The bathroom upstairs is finally getting the attention it needs, after almost 4 years, and should be ready by the end of January. *Glee!* 
  • Jukebox update 2007-12-27 10:52:45 Well, I cleaned up the jukebox and had a look at the 45s. The woman that sold the thing to Steph said that it was full of 50s music and worked perfectly until her husband jammed a 45 in and it was still stuck.

    Well I got the 45s out and WOW!!! The cool 50s music in it! It's worth a fortune!

    Here a partial list:

    1 - I think we're alone now > Tiffany
    2 - Please don't go girl > New Kids on the Block
    3 - Wishing Well > Terrence Trent Darby
    4 - Two Hearts > Phil Collins

    and many, many more of the great 50s hits. (unless she meant they were hits when she was 50, I'm not sure).

    Anyway, I took the jammed record out and reset the machine, unfortunately the fingers will not pick up the records, they slip. Gah! Looks like I have to make an adjustment.

    Yay for 50s music!
