  • Llamacon... 2006-02-14 22:00:12 "Someday" made the finals for Llamacon! Wootness! First time (that I know of - still no word on Katsucon) that the vid will be shown to a large audience. :)

    Calling Vlasis now to tell him the news! His music in an AMV shown to a group of otaku...something I'd be willing to bet he never thought would happen in his lifetime. Hehehehe...

    The insanity that is Dr. Raven continues...

    I don't think it fits the rules...based on similarity. The other clips look like they're shaping up to be completely different animes from the music choices selected. That's my official vote - it might stand out too much from the overall theme to those that are watching it (and are familiar with the OVA vs. series in question). So, that's my official vote.

    *However* - it is a reasonable request based on technicality. After all, they are 2 separate productions. Though, I will admit, I haven't seen this anime or OVA - so if it seems like I'm talking out of my butt, that's why. :)~

    How's that for wishy washy? LOL

    Considering that I regard most of these vids as "learning experiences," I'm really pretty proud of the scores. Though I think people are being generous where "Faye" is concerned...I just watched it again the other day, and my god...how do you all put up with the slow mo look?? :)~ Well, it does have a pretty good story/concept, if I do say so myself. ;)

    And "Someday" is gradually rising! Woohoo! Yes, it has it's flaws, but I still consider it my best work to date (well, considering "Mark of My Sins" hasn't been released yet - and I think I've improved over "Someday" with it...only feedback will tell).

  • 2nd round of edits done... 2006-02-12 13:38:13 Okay, got the middle done...well...the end of the middle that needed work. JH - you'll be happy to know that now his hands clench on the first piano chord, eyes open on the 2nd piano chord and screams start on the guitar. :P

    And gee, that only took me 2 friggin hours...LOL

    Now...the end. Still haven't quite figured out what I'm going to do there yet. Maybe now would be a good time to run those errands I've been putting off all weekend to chat with you people and edit this AMV....

    Maybe.

    PS - It went from being almost 60 degrees here last week to below freezing with snow. WTF????
