    Number one most used musical artist...check.
    Cartoon Network logos...check.
    Crappy footage quality...BIG CHECK.
    Cheezy effects...oh yeah, baby, check!
    Subtitles...check!
    Repeated clips...muahahahaha...check!
    Poking fun at the amv community...::snickers:: CHECK!

    And no, I'm not going to upload this one to the org...that would be truly evil of me to unleash it upon the world. No, just the good folks at AD (and close friends) are getting this one. :P

    There there. You know, I asked a hypothetical question the other night on AIM that applies to this:

    If you curse at your star ratings long enough, will they go up? :P

    Seriously, hon...while my own stars aren't *too* shabby (considering I've been doing this for less than a year)...they pale in comparison to yours. 3.9 (if I recall correctly from one of your other journal entries)?? Mine have never hit 3.9. LOL Best I've got right now is "Mark"...at 3.76...and there's still quite a few ratings out on it, so...yeah...that'll go down. ;)

    May I also point out that:
    A) You're kicking arse on downloads and bandwith
    B) You made the semi-finals for Rookie of the Year (no small feat!)
    C) You've impressed the hell out of me with your work (whether or not that's a small feat is still being debated...)

    I think Katie said it the best a while ago...don't sweat the numbers. That's all they are. Numbers. :D We still wub you. :)

    5 ops and 1 QC rolled in today for "The Mark of My Sins". Pretty, shiny scores and lots of kind words...thank you all!!! The vid broke 100 hits in its first week...trivial in comparison to some of the bigger, more well known editors around here, but a personal best for one of my pieces, so I've got a nice, warm fuzzy feelin'.

    And my WTF moment for the day...
    "Silent Ronin" - my very first AMV - received a QC:

    I'm glad whoever left this enjoyed it so much...it's not bad, for a first piece of work, if I do say so myself. :)

    And speaking of WTF...
    My entry for the AD WTF contest will be in the works shortly. It will take me less than a day to put together the most evil torture device AMV known to man. Think Cartoon Network logos. Think DivX watermarks. Think DBZ. Think Linkin Park. And that's just the basics. Your eyes will bleed. You'll probably go deaf. In the end (pun intended), you'll be begging for the con officials to turn it off. Well, that's my goal, anyway. ;)

    And now...
    I'm off to finish up on the JJMEP clip. I *finally* have a beginning! Yay! Just a couple of scenes to tigthten up/change clips and I'll probably be done. Probably. Maybe. Who knows...but it WILL be done by the deadline...one way or the other. :P
