  • Third times the charm... 2006-05-06 17:11:14 ::grumble::

    Why does Tanked Samurai have to be the ever constant pain in my rear?? It gave Jub fits with the MEP in terms of synch...now it's giving me fits when I go to compress it...2 renders and both end up "sticking" right after the opening - audio keeps playing but the video footage gets stuck in the same spot. grrrrrrrrrrr

    So, tweaked the settings and it's off to render 3 now...::fingers crossed::

    Maybe if this doesn't work I'll just host the big ass MPG-2 version with uncompressed audio. O.O

    It's coming...I'm rendering a compressed version of Tanked Samurai right now...if that turns out, I'll but uploading them both to local this afternoon. ;)

  • YAY!!!!!! 2006-05-06 16:17:23 HA! I have prevailed over my video editor...I think...

    Rendered a lovely 55.4MB version of the comedy...compressed audio and all as an avi...which I haven't ever done with any other video successfully...

    And it synchs and everything on playback! w00t!

    Now here's hoping the org members will be able to play it back with their respective codecs...lmao.

    Now on to AMV Torture and Tanked Samurai... :P

    And in other news (aka...for those who care...)

    Today is the day of compression. The comedy is as done as it's going to be...added a couple fades here and there and a couple of overlay sequences...also sent it off to a con. lol...ironic that a con gets it before the org does, but oh well. At any rate, I'm fiddling with 2 pass encodes and all that compression nonsense, so hopefully it will be up this weekend.

    Also have to compress AMV Torture since YSI now has a cap of 100MB on their free service...gah. All that work for a WTF...lmao...but I have a couple of requests for copies, so I guess it has to be done. :P

    And then there's Tanked Samurai...it's also on the list for compression and upload to the org...and I must've been sniffing glue, cuz I sent it off to a few cons as well...

    And after the compression...scripting. Can't decide what to work on first...my Yaoi Con vid or the Villians project...hmmmmm...decisions, decisions...

    Also finished watching Gungrave this weekend...yes, I know, I'm behind in my anime...anywho, great series...not fantastic, but worth the watch. Especially if you like mafia-type zombie stories. ;)

    Guess that's the update for now...it's so quiet around here...::crickets chirping::
