Ok, break time...for real...

Different media players all had the same result. Only played correctly in VDub...but even then the audio didn't synch...
My head now has an appointment with a brick wall, so if you'll all excuse me for a bit...
I may or may not be back on this evening...so feel free to PM me with new developments.
Cya peeps,

Will look at different players...that's one thing I haven't tried...
And to answer your question, just about everything I do is in 640x480...I keep getting "squished" footage with 720x480 when I run it through as an avi...now when I make the MPG-2 con versions, I don't have this problem...go figure.

Shino - thanks...I take it that you didn't have any trouble viewing it and the visual quality is ok? (see previous journal entries regarding my latest stress lol)
Rina - I'm at a loss...obviously it played well for you...but when I look at it, omg, it's like some of the scenes have a red hue to them, some of them green, and almost all have a ghosted/duplicate image of the clip in the upper left corner as well as what's on the screen imprinted over the black letterboxing...
Me thinks I need to step away from the computer for a bit...
Yikes.

Rina...

yeah, quality...
the version I have, now even the one that I rendered here (not the dl test version)...has funky colors (best way I can describe it is that it looks like a tv set that needs to have some adjustments made...), image ghosting, duplicate images, etc.
I can only hold out hope that maybe it's just me and my stupid video card...but I'm not so sure that's the case...
And now I can't get on aim either...::grumble::
Wow...karma is kicking my ass today, isn't she? lol

I think I'm gonna be sick...

No, really...
Went back to the test version that I dl'd to confirm the video, and now no matter what I do, it really looks god awful...
I'm guessing that's why it's being rated so low...
::sigh::
Well, I guess I'll just have to post a "remastered" version if I'm not the only one to have this problem...
