hehehehe...yeah, do I ever know what you mean...I don't even recall all the specs for the other comp (which I still will use occasionally...planning on upgrading it eventually as well)...but I can tell you this about this new bundle of joy:
RAM - 2 gig (if I recall correctly)
HD - 232 GB
And even my P.O.S. AMV Torture looks *good* on this monitor...lmao :P
So, yeah...and now I get to actually USE premiere and the other adobe programs...instead of looking at the software discs thinking "gee, if only my puter would support this..."
Anywhos...back to installing software lol -

OMG...it's so purty...and fast...and omg the ram and hd space I have now...omg...
Okay, so it's not *entirely* done...I still have to install all my progs...like my editing software, VLC, and transfer my files...but hey...it's HERE! It's BUILT! and (most importantly) IT WORKS!!!!!!
And holy crap you should see the graphics on this thing...wheeeeee!
I think I'm in love...with my new compy. :P -

Had some problems with dropped frames in VLC.
That would probably be because it's encoded with a very wierd SVCD Mpg2 codec to make it a smaller file for org hosting. If you read my profile, you'll understand that I've learned a few things since then...lol. Yeah, I'm lazy...and that video is really kind of a P.O.S., so I don't bother to upload a better encode.
My mood is...shall we say...wierd? Strung out, tired...waiting anxiously for my new rig to be completed so I can edit like the wind...
Oh yeah...before I forget...if any of the JJ crowd has an interest in going to Anime Iowa, I have room for an extra person in my hotel room...pm me if you'd be interested. I'm not going to post on the forums cuz I don't want some random person I dun't know...

Josh - ok, that site you listed...it doesn't quite have *every* bishie known to man...in fact, my top 3 aren't on the site at all. ::cries:: But I still bookmarked it...hehehehehe.
