Lack of video production...
2014-11-21 13:21:17
So I've been wanting to edit an AMV for some time since my AWA video. I'm looking to start a new video hopefully in the upcoming week. I've just been under a great deal of stress. My depression is kicking in again and I'm trying to fight it off. It has to deal with work and not being happy with the situation. However I am greatful to have a job and that's all that should matter. It's just when you wake up everyday dreading to go into work and hitting the snooze button for an hour to an hour and a half. That's bad.
Anyways I'm looking forward to this weekend getting my mind off of some things. Here's to my next AMV. Not sure which idea I'm going with yet.

Lose of a friend...
2014-11-03 09:41:20
It is with great sadness that Big Danny T. passed away early morning on November 1st. On the convention scene you would see him on stage MC'ing events. He also was a big part of the Rocky Horror Picture Show in Virginia Beach, VA. More improtantly he was a great friend. I knew Danny for 9 years, since my first Anime Mid Atlantic. He always knew how to make you laugh, never seemed down, always was upbeat. When I need somebody to talk to he was there for me. He was somebody you could always rely on. I remember all the fun we had at conventions together and the times we would just be playing various games.
Danny was also a big part of out Anime Whose Line Is It Anyway at AMA. The panel was packed because of him. He knew how to get the audience envolved and knew everybody's strength on the panel, to put on the best possible show.
I want to thank him for everyone he has done for us over the years. Another friend taken away from us way too soon. He will live on in our memories and we'll remember all the great times we had with him. I know Danny wouldn't want us to cry but it's hard not to think about him not being around anymore.
Rest in peace my friend.

Leaving 1999 behind joining 2014!!!
2014-10-08 08:03:50
So I'll have the money next month to go ahead and purchase Vegas Pro 13. I've been editing on the original Adobe Premiere 6.0 (1999) since 2004. It'll be a new program to learn but I need to make editing easier on myself if I'm going to produce videos like the other editors today. I'm nervous about using raw footage as I'm worried the system will either be slow or crash on me. I've never used Vegas before so I'll probably need help at first to learn how stuff works.
So in the mean time I'll get Vegas installed on my laptop work on there and have my XP machine at home with Premiere 6.0 just incase I need to do some work on it. Once I'm familiar enough with Vegas I'll be upgrading my home computer windows 7 and uping the ram in it with a new video card.
Anyways looking forward to the end of this month when I get everything started again. In the mean time I'll be working on my newest amv and getting the basic editing done for now.

So on the way home I started thinking about my Masters Project for AWA next year. I actually have an idea I really like. So I'll be working on it on and off between other projects. I'm looking forward to working on it.

Not sure what to do....
2014-09-20 16:50:14
So with two conventions coming up and the stuff that has been going on here on the org. I feel like I don't belong and probably never had. I have to give myself some time to think about it but I may be leaving the org. or quiting for good.
I feel like I'm nothing but a joke. I just don't know what to do anymore.
