Well today nothing much happended. I still need to find a teacher to hold my anime meetings after school. Just thinking about it. It is great being a senior this year. Well the video I'm working on has come a little bit further now and I'm trying to add the sound to it. I have so many ideas for videos. Well tonight I'm going to work. I work for the Maryland Gazette and I'm a sales representive. They have a contest right now for a $1,000 savings bond. This is great. So far I've been working with the Gazette for 6 years. I can't wait for this next anime meeting this sunday. For we are going to a store called G-Century and it is a huge anime store. That reminds me if you do live near the Baltimore, White Marsh area go ahead and come on to the meeting new memebers are always welcome just look at the journal a couple of days ago and you'll see all the instructions there. Well the arena tournament is over and after 7 straight months at being the top of it I fall one spot to 2nd. What really sucks is all the time I got prizes for finishing first was about $15-$20 in cards. I know this is a cheap tournament and that wasn't bad but when I lost this time the winner got the choice of two cards like normally but this time they had a foil rare worth more than any of the other times I played. It figures the one time I don't win is the time they hand out a really good prize.
Oh, well I guess I'll go to states in November to unless one of my decks fury. I know I'm not great, but I'm original with my decks at least I try to be. So I hope my originality throws off my opponents long enough. In an immitation of The Rock. " I'll go to states and I'll prove Eric wrong that I can have a descent finish. With the way things are going I might actually win the State Championship. If you smeelllll what Gene ... is cookin?!"

Going to another Tournament and a look at the future

Well the tournaments I'm in right now are Magic the Gathering tournaments. So today I'm going to try to win my 8th straight arena contest. In arena the only thing that matters are points. (3 per win 1 per lose.) So anyway I'm 6 points out of first due to missing nearly 6 1/2 hours of tournament play but not out of it yet. Coming up in about two months is the state tournament . Where for the first time I'll compete for winning the State Championship. The winner gets three or four boxes of magic cards. If I do well at states I should do well at Regionals.
Well if any one wants to join an anime club just look at the last journal entry and you can see when and where it is. Taking a line from Bob Saget " So until next time keep those videos comin'" -
Progress on the Ultimate Sacrifice

Well now it has been 60 hours since I began this video and I must say for my first one it is coming a long nicely. I don't weather or not to leave the video with the words of the song scrolling up or not. Please comment on if it would distract you if you saw the words scroll up because I was trying to make it more serious and dramatic because of the font it was in. Anyway I'm at the 3:13 mark and have another 1:30 to go so depending on how well it is I might send it to Otakon 2003 or Katsucon 2003. But I won't make this one downloadable until I know for sure. You may think I'm selfish but I just don't want people to copy it and then change the name and put there name on it and call it there not saying you people would do that but I'm just not sure.
Anyway school is going well and it is my senior year and pretty easy. I've joined the poetry club and I've now started an anime club at my school. I'm also creating my own anime series for myself right now and it is called Ultimate Wizard Battles. The story is based off of magic the gathering and it is taking the spells and actually bringing to life real dragons and creatures. So I'll try to send it to wizards to see what they think. If they approve then I'll continue and maybe 10-15 years from now it will be created. If not I'll make a new concept of the game but keep the same story line.
There is one more thing If you live in an area near Whitemarsh or Baltimore Maryland come check out the G-Century Eva Project anime club. We meet the first sunday and third sunday of each month. You'll have a great time with 2-3 different showings of anime. We have a wide varitity of anime. More than you can imagine. You'll laugh yourself away and be amazed. Just bring some money for pizza and that is it and enjoy yourself. We begin at 10:30 a.m and end around 7:00 p.m. Just email Frank for directions. The email adress is Animeholic75@comcast.net.
